As fight week is just one day away the hype behind the highly anticipated rematch between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Marcos Maidana is starting to boil over. Episode 2 of Showtime’s documentary series, All Access: Mayweather vs. Maidana II premiered Saturday helping those anticipating the fight get a fix before next weekend’s bout.
Giving fans an insight to both fighters camps and personal lives heading into the Sept. 13 showdown at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada, it gives the boxing enthusiast a look at what it takes to prepare for a big pay-per-view showdown.
This week’s episode is full of action, thanks to the Mayweather Boxing Club and its, “Doghouse,” that featured two of former heavyweight titlist’s Hasim Rahman’s son’s, Hasim Jr. ans Sahrif, fighting grueling sparring matches.
Also, Maidana’s has been working to get his stamina up, as he ran of gas in their May bout, and the Argentine star is doing everything he can to make sure he can go a full 12 rounds with solid production the second time around.
Look for Episode 3 premiering Wednesday on Showtime leading up to the big Mayweather versus Maidana rematch taking place Saturday, Sept. 13 beginning at 5 pm EDT on Showtime PPV.
