It is once again another fight week in Las Vegas as they seem to be happening sooner rather than later. As we all know, it is the one week in which both fighters and reporters are stressed out over the same damn thing. No it is not the food that will be provided at the various media events but rather creating awareness for the fight that is at hand this Saturday at the Thomas and Mack Center.

On Ocotber 12th, In one corner you will have Juan Manuel Marquez whom seeks to be the first Mexican fighter to win a fifth title in five weight divisions. If he is able to achieve this, he will probably be seen as the second greatest Mexican fighter in their rich tradition of pugilism (we all know he is not going to surpass Julio Cesar Chavez). In the other corner is the iron willed Timothy Bradley. For Bradley this fight represents a ticket to the hall of fame and potentially some personal redemption given his controversial win over Manny Pacquiao in June of last year.

Both men have the feeling that speed will play a huge factor in the fight on Saturday and Juan Manuel Marquez speaks to our Marcos Villegas on the matter as he was in Los Angeles for a quick stop before heading over to Las Vegas to get all the fancy schamcy fight week stuff started.
