Marcos Maidana is not sold on Adrien Broner. He shares the same sentiment many boxing fans feel about the young and brash welterweight champion. That being in 27 fights, Broner has never faced a elite level fighter and fans feel he has been carefully matched in bouts that were designed to make him look good. Love him or hate him, Broner has that “it” factor and it is this very reason that the boxing world is buzzing over his bout with Maidana this weekend on Showtime.
For Maidana’s part he looks to be a truth machine for Broner. If he can withstand the power and pressure of the Argentine it will legitimize his claims that he really is that great and on the path to PPV stardom.
