Reports from several news outlets report that former five-time world boxing champion Johnny Tapia was found dead at his Albuquerque home earlier today.
KOB Eyewitness News 4 reported “Albuquerque Police tell KOB that boxing legend Johnny Tapia was found dead inside his Albuquerque home.”
Tapia was known in the boxing world as one of thee most very charismatic fighters and personalities providing fans with great wars against Danny Romero and Antonio Barrera to name a few.
