Adrien “The Problem” Broner will make his return to the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey this Saturday on HBO. The dazzling WBC Lightweight Champion will look to defend his belt, whilst continuing his winning-streak (25-0).

Though, he was aiming to land a fight with legends like Juan Manuel Marquez, or WBO titleholder Ricky Burns he still came out with a steady dance partner in international belt holder and undefeated since 2008, Gavin Rees.

Things heated up, just yesterday, when the press gathered to gander at the fighters before their anticipated affair. Check out the quotes below.

“I don’t underestimate him. If we stood face-to-face, I probably couldn’t see him, but I respect him as a fighter.” -Broner said. With his typical triumphant approach.

“To this day, right now, I could literally leave boxing and be like- ‘I did more than anybody in my family ever did.’ I could provide for my kids and my family. But, I’m not going to settle for that. I’m trying to be the best boxer to ever lace up a pair of gloves. That’s my goal.”

“Put your glasses on because I am going to shine. Hook — right — goodnight.”

And, the tension begins.

“I’m going to knock this prick out Saturday night and I can’t wait.” –Reese exclaimed.

“His attitude stinks, man. He shows fighters no respect. But, he hasn’t even earned the right to do that. What has he done? I’ve been in the States for five weeks now and American boxing fans don’t like him. They tell me they hope I beat him and shut him up. I think he acts like a fool for no reason and no one really likes that.”

Maybe, Gavin needs to get around a bit more? Word on the streets is “The Problem” is the next Mayweather — or possibly — even better, who knows? It’s really too early to say so. The back-and-forth is definitely interesting, nevertheless, making for an entertaining presser, jusy days from his title defense, this weekend.

Will Rees be the man with a plan to be the first to stop the unbeaten, or can Broner set the pace in the early going, use his speed, strength, and precision to tally up another win?

Will the prodigious of “The Problem” remain and will he hold onto his WBC strap on Saturday evening, opposite Gavin Rees?

You will find out this Saturday (Feb. 16, 2013), at The Boardwalk Hall for the WBC Belt.
