It was another hot and sweaty day for us over at the Fight Hub offices as Saul “Canelo” Alvarez held a open media workout today in a private boxing club in Santa Monica. Acclaimed director Peter Berg, known to most boxing fans as the director of “On Freddie Roach,” owns the club and personally invited Alvarez to set up camp for his big bout against Joesito Lopez.
Alvarez unlike most fighters allowed us to film his sparring session in which he went four rounds in total with each round consisting of 4 minutes. Alvarez’s two sparring partners were Abraham Lopez and Chia Santana who gave Alvarez a steady workout. Check out the man they call Canelo in action below!
