Roger Mayweather says he has not seen any tape on Marcos Maidana

When a fighter is preparing for his next bout his team usually examines tapes of their opponent to see what they should and should not do going into their own battle in the ring.

When you’re the pound-for-pound king and riding a 45-bout win streak, examining tapes might not be of much importance to the fighter that has seen just about everything in the ring.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. is one of, if not the only exception to the tape examining process, if what his uncle, Roger Mayweather, is true.

Roger Mayweather explained that he had not seen any tape in Mayweather Jr.’s May 3 opponent Marcos Maidana.

With Mayweather Jr.’s uncanny ability to adapt to any fighter he is facing, he should have no problem doing what he has to do to win.

Also, just because Roger Mayweather hasn’t seen tape doesn’t mean Mayweather Jr. hasn’t, as he has mentioned how he couldn’t believe what Maidana did to his friend Adrien Broner, so at the least Mayweather Jr. has seen what is Maidana’s biggest win, which should be enough to see what he is all about.

In the end all of this shouldn’t matter as Mayweather Jr. should walk out fo the ring with his 46th win in as many tried looking toward his usual September fight date.
