Roddy Piper – “MMA Fighters training without proper gear could be shortening their careers”

What could be scarier than falling into a viper’s pit? I can think of a few things but none as much as falling into… The Piper’s Pit! “Rowdy” Roddy Piper is a known face of professional wrestling and always will be. Recognized for his attitude, passion and selling power of the sport, he is an icon loved during his time in the ring but still now in appearances he makes throughout sports entertainment and other ventures.

Could you imagine if Piper were in MMA instead of wrestling, who would you have like to have seen on his show? Dana White getting slammed with a chair or BJ Penn getting hit with a coconut? “The Prodigy” probably would have drunk the bloody coconut milk and then choked the Scottsman with his own kilt. Maybe Chael Sonnen can start his own segment since he has been blessed with the gift of gab; he is nicknamed the “American Gangster” so his segment could be – “Sonnen’s G Spot!” Sign up for interviews today before all the positions are knocked out.

The good amigos over at Fighters.com hooked up with the WWE Hall of Famer recently and were able to pick his brain about MMA and their current state of affairs. Piper offers interesting comments towards what he feels is going wrong in MMA and why fighters should better protect themselves in training, to avoid cutting their careers short.

So break out the kilt, turn up the bagpipes and enjoy the video below!
