Manny Pacquiao talks 50 cent, Mayweather bout and promises to focus on speed/footwork for Juan Manuel Marquez

Many fans are expressing dissatisfaction with the recent announcement of a 4th installment between Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez. The biggest gripe coming from fans is “been there, done that.” Over the course of three fights both fighters have gone toe to toe and each and every bout has brought an inconclusive result in the minds of the general public. It was even more so this past November, as many believed Juan Manuel Marquez was the clear winner in their third encounter. So when a 4th match up was finally announced, many fans also expressed their concerns that Marquez would never get a fair shake with Pacquiao in Las Vegas.

Pacquiao and Marquez both recognize that they need to change something in their preparation or strategy to finally achieve a decisive victory and close out the series. Marquez has stated that maybe he needs to become more of the aggressor, while in this video Pacquaio admits that he will focus more on his speed and footwork while trying to tap into the Manny Pacquaio of old; The very Pacquiao that dominated fighters such as Ricky Hatton, Oscar De La Hoya, David Diaz and many others.

We have all heard by now that 50 Cent and Pacquiao are partnering up though we do not know to what extent. When asked what is going on the Filipino fighter was mum declining to comment on what was in the works, if a Floyd Mayweather Jr. match up was closer because of the partnership and how exactly in specifics the two met. Pacquiao would only comment on how nice of a guy 50 Cent was though something is in the works, and though it is three years late, let us hope Pacquiao’s next fight regardless of a win or loss is Floyd Mayweather Jr.
