Manny Pacquiao Ready For Whatever Mosley Brings, Arum Contends Mosley Will Have Surprises
This May 7th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada, fight fans will witness 2011′s first super fight as top pound for pound boxer Manny Pacquiao will take on former three time champion “Sugar” Shane Mosley. When the bout was first announced many fans cried foul, citing a horrible mismatch between the aging Mosley with the speedy southpaw. How can someone of Mosley’s age survive against a man who has beaten guys bigger and stronger than him? The was the first of many questions that came into mind when stacking the two athletes together. For his part Bob Arum and the matchmakers at Top Rank may know something a bit more than fans as recent “mismatches” between Cotto/Mayorga and Morales/Maidana have exceeded expectations with the underdogs being competitive and almost stealing victory on more than one occasion.
Arum contends that it will be a competitive fight, even though Pacquiao has the overall speed advantage. “Mosley has a lot of hand speed and power in his punches as well. Shane has a iron chin, no one has ever knocked him out,” commented Arum. Still many fans are hard pressed to believe Arum, citing that the aging Mosley looked less than stellar in his last two fights (Mayweather, Mora).
The upcoming May 7th bout also marks Pacquiao’s second camp as a congressman. It was well documented in the lead up to the Antonio Margarito bout that there was dissension and dissatisfaction among Team Pacquiao with head trainer Freddie Roach citing it as “The worst camp Manny has ever had.” Things appear to be going smoothly with all members involved working like a unit. “This one has been more smoother, a lot more focused and from day one he (Pacquiao) has been very motivated for this fight,” said Roach. Top Rank promoter Bob Arum sees the change as well, “He has a better handle of dealing with it (being congressman) now.”
In all our years of covering Manny Pacquiao, we have never heard him bad mouth a opponent though we have a hunch that if a Floyd Mayweather Jr. bout comes thru he might crack and quip a few smart remarks. True to his character, when asked what he thought about Mosley or if he even admired him, Pacquiao was quick to respond, “I admire that he is a nice guy, he knows how to respect people and no trash talk for this fight. That is why I respect him.” Come May 7th he may learn to respect Mosley’s punching power as the Pomona based fighter is the only man to have a knockout win over Antonio Margarito, something even Manny Pacquiao could not pull off.
Roach and Pacquiao are well aware of that and expect Mosley to be at his strongest and best in the early rounds, “He is going to start quick and come out after us and make a statement right away when he is fresh,” said Roach. Pacquiao for his part was not bothered with the prospect of Mosley coming at him guns blazing, “I am ready for that. Whatever his style is in the ring, I am ready for.”

The Clown believes his own hype. He doesn’t even know that his victories are as a result of matchmaking, not because of walking through champions like Lewis, Martinez, Ortiz, Berto, or Mayweather.
To top it of he actually believes he can sing!!! You midgets won’t even be honest with him and tell him he sounds like a wounded YAK.
Typical N*GG*R.

Hmmm…wasn’t Dizzle explaining A LONG TIME AGO that the key to Manny’s power and greatness was his unparalleled striking techniques (in particular the way Pac has molded Bruce Lee’s one-inch punch concept into his own)??
And what was Mosley saying about the fight regarding Pac’s power?
Keep hating haters and Manny will keep showing you why Muhammad Ali has always admired The Asian style of boxing.
If there’s anyone who ever Floated Like A Butterfly and Stung Like A Bee, it’s Manny Pacquiao.

Too bad Manny will never have a legacy other than being the guy who fought over-the-hill again has-beens. When did he ever fight a top contender who was IN HIS PRIME? I will tell you. NEVER. Leonard had Hearns, Hagler and Duran. Ali had Frazier and Foreman to cement their greatness. Manny has had NO ONE! Too bad we will never know how good or not good he was.

I guess someone will azzcuse me on being this person too!

I must admit……Manny is the only throwback left in Boxing. I’ll bet he’d fight Floyd next week if Floyd was willing. MMA is the new frontier. And why not? I’m a purist (or was) but MMA is getting the best and most talented of the younger generation. I’ll watch two hungry MMA fighters who need money over two established millionaire boxers any time.

MMA, man that’s funny! Now I know why you two continue to hold hands daily! It’s even funnier how Pac-A-Roid started stuttering when Jim Gray asked him if he wanted to fight PBF! One thing HE did not say is YES! He had the entire worlds attention and punked out by saying “it’s up to my slave-master in whom I fight”.
Wow, tell your boyfriend to grow a pair. Shucks, I forgot I was talking to women. Sorry girls!

I AGREE WITH ZAB
Once upon a time there was this N*gg*r from Kentucky
Talked a lot of sh!t, but is soft as rubber ducky
As in Floyd the duck, this n*ggA wasn’t so lucky
when he got banned from Fox and sent back to Kentucky.
Too scared to come to L.A., so he demands 15K…
still won’t meet me in Chi-town, straight softer than fish filet…
So this n*gg*r does what he does best – avoid and delay…
Like a b!tchmade matador, punk@zz does an “OLE” (olay)!!
F*ck you very much blackie…your kind (mosley) won’t even step up and fight like a MAN. This midget Pacquiao made your kind RUN like a b!tch and it’s the same thing I’ll do to you if you’re man enough to meet me in IL or Indianapolis in July.
You keep asking for the results of the tourney? Send my your number and I’ll gladly give em to you slaveb!tch.
So V.C.T., The King of the Keyboard Jockeys, has stolen my phrase and used it on someone else?
Very Suspect!
V.C.T. You have been called out for talking all that trash……Why haven’t you backed it up? All you do talk more. You have never been available like you claim. Why are you afraid to show up?
You two f*ggots are funny….literally too! Post the information so we can fight! How much clearer can it get?
Both of you girls are as hard a cotton and soft like the inside of your mommies jawS!
MMMM MMMM Good!

Common: “Keeping it real and using my common sense: Pac is a WARRIOR but Arum is a thief who is only looking out for his own pockets, which is why Pac gets criticized, often unfairly.”
Fair enough bro. Arum can be criticized for some of his decisions and advice to Pac. And Pac listens to him. That’s not taking away anything from Pac because after all Pac always says “I’m just doing my job.” Pac’s job is to fight. Arum’s is to promote. And the commission’s is to review and regulate.
So then why doesn’t Wis EVER criticize Arum and instead resorts to demeaning Pac? One word answer: PLAYAHATA.
WisHusker…you fail to see both sides of the coin buddy. And for that, it is fair to say that you are not a true fan of boxing.
How funny. Well it’s appears that the boat boy is using my phrases. I knew you wanted to be like me. Sorry, I’m not scared to post a picture of myself. Carry on being gutless!
