Shane Mosley Compares Mayweather and Pacquiao “This fight not tougher than Floyd, It is different.”

In what was certainly a crazy day for us at Fight Hub TV as our team was on hand for the formal announcement of Manny Pacquiao vs. Shane Mosley at The MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada, May 7 on Showtime PPV. Over two hundred and fifty media members from around the globe converged at the Beverly Hills Hotel, to witness the man who has become a cross over star in Manny Pacquiao. With a barrage of reporters hurdling over the current pound for pound king, it allowed our cameras to sneak over to former king of the welterweights and living boxing legend “Sugar” Shane Mosley to have a few words with us regarding this fight.

When asked what made this fight so interesting (besides the huge payday) Mosley responded, “Watching Margarito walk Manny down in that fight, and land a few shots..I am faster than him [Margarito] and hit harder than him, so I believe that  I can get the right shots in to catch Manny Pacquiao.” Mosley does have something he can boast over the congressman in coming into this bout. With both fighters having fought Antonio Margarito, it is the older legend, Shane Mosley that has the knockout win over the Mexican fighter. “It lets me know that I have greater hitting power than Margarito and maybe even Manny Pacquiao.”

As with all things Manny Pacquiao, you can not escape any type of interview related to him or his opponents with out the mention of Floyd Mayweather Jr. Mayweather Jr., who has been out of the ring since his lopsided win over Mosley in May of 2010 feels that this camp will not be tougher than his camp for Mayweather, but rather different altogether, ” I do not think it will be tougher because it is a different type of fight. It is going to be a real fight, not a strategic boxing match and that is what I am looking forward to.”
