If Chael Sonnen would of fought Mark Munoz at UFC on Fox 2, Jason “Mayhem” Miller describes what would of happened

So when the bout between Mark Munoz and Chael Sonnen was announced late in December of 2011 as a co-main event for UFC on Fox 2, we had sent our fight correspondent Marcos Villegas to gather video interviews and training footage from the Regin Training Center, the homebase of Mark Munoz. We had quite a bit of footage of Mark Munoz, Jake Ellenberger, Jason “Mayhem” Miller, Brett Copper and others helping him out for the bout. Not to mention one on one interviews on how his teammates thought he would beat Chael Sonnen.

So when it was announced that Mark Munoz was injured and would not fight Chael Sonnen, all that footage we had went to the trash bin. Trust us, we wanted to pull our hair out. Last Saturday, UFC on Fox 2 took place and while we watched Michael Bisping take on Chael Sonnen the words of one Jason “Mayhem” Miller stood out. We did a one on one with Miller prior to Munoz’s injury and he broke down how Munoz would beat Sonnen. Judging by the fight, it is a interesting point of view to hear and leaves one wondering if Munoz had not been injured, would he be the one to face Anderson Silva later this year?
