The UFC welterweight unification match between Georges St-Pierre and Carlos Condit will be going down on November 17th in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Yes we know, it is more than a month away, but with everyone in MMA getting injured so frequently we did not want to sit on this little gem of a clip with UFC welterweight contender Martin Kampmann.
Las Vegas correspondent Michael Mardones caught up with Kampmann as he asked him to breakdown the main event fight. As you all remember, Kampmann was the last man to defeat Condit since earning a title shot and you can make the argument that Kampmann should be in Condit’s position. As many fans would tell you, Kampmann feels the unification bout will go like a typical St-Pierre bout, ” he is going to take him down and lay on him.” Kampmann also touches on that very approach to fights as well as comments on what he felt about Carlos Condit’s controversial decision over Nick Diaz.
