So when we are old and gray and have to wear pampers and start analyzing current fighters of this era and their greatness, multiple subjects will come up under scrutiny as the passage of time will ultimately tell is who was the greatest of this era. Though the topic of who was the best self promoter in MMA during this time is not as serious as the one mentioned, but bar none it is still one that will garner quite a bit of debate.
In one corner we have Chael Sonnen and his brand of WWE inspired promos and interviews. Taking pages from “Superstar” Billy Graham, Dusty Rhodes, and others Sonnen way of promoting has done one thing, made us know who he is. In the other corner is newly retired Jason “Mayhem” Miller whose random interviews and colorful persona have made him a fan favorite for close to a decade.
