Fight Hub TV and Fight Correspondent Marcos Villegas, took to Hollywood, CA to get a inside look at Manny Pacquiao at The Wild Card Gym. The gym was packed when we arrived for this special media day as celebrities such as Jeremy Piven made an appearance to wish Manny well.
Manny of course was the star attraction, with all eyes on him. Pacquiao seemed to be in good spirits as he talked to the media commenting that the pressure of being a congressman has not affected him what so ever. Things are all going according to plan with Pacquiao quoting that the stress of being the biggest boxing star in the sport and balancing political life has not gotten in the way of training for Antonio Margarito.
Freddie Roach and Alex Ariza think differently. The two commented that this has been Manny’s worst training camp, with Pacquiao missing training sessions and being distracted with commitments such as campaigning for Senator Harry Reid.
Meanwhile, from what we hear, Antonio Margarito has been training feverishly. Not only for a chance to beat the now living legend, but for redemption in the eyes of fans and the boxing media.
