With the frequency of UFC cards raising at huge rates, it’s easy to forget about a fight, or at least you’re distracted by all the other fights so often that a sense of massive anticipation is usually lost in the shuffle. I feel like this GSP/Hendricks fight is one of those battles where we should’ve been losing our minds for weeks on end, and it’s turned out that we’ve only had hype for about a week or so. It’s a bummer, but I’m feeling it now. I feel the anticipation growing in my stomach like never before. I think Hendricks takes this.
Granted, this look at the end of Johny Hendricks’ fight camp is admittedly pedestrian compared to the scientific and insanely strenuous workouts GSP is putting himself through at those same moments. It’s like Rocky vs. Dolph Lundgren in a way.
