Gennady Golovkin vs. Daniel Geale: GGG Full media workout video

GGG media workout FightHubWBA and IBO middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin took to the Box and Burn Gym in Santa Monica, California, Wednesday for his media day for his upcoming fight against Daniel Geale July 26 at Madison Square Garden.

Geale represents Golovkin’s toughest challenge to date which could mean the end of Golovkin’s 16-fight early stoppage win streak.

Golovkin (29-0, 26 KOs) trained the last couple of months in elevation at Big Bear, California which should bode well for the hard-hitting Kazakhstan native if the fight goes the full 12 rounds. Golovkin has only been past the eighth round once, when he defeated Kassim Ouma via Round 10 TKO in 2011.

With a few fights with pay-per-view potential on the line (Canelo Alvarez or Migeul Cotto) one would expect Golovkin to put on the fight of his career July 26 and even shock the media who feels that he will have a tough time disposing of Geale early as he’s done in 26 of his 29 professional bouts.

The exciting nature of Golokin’s fights have built up his name with each win and beating a former world champion in Geale would only further his appeal to fans and get him one step close to becoming one of the biggest names in the sport.
