Two of Las Vegas’ biggest Heavyweights are set to square off at UFC 130 this Saturday. I am talking about two guys who are no strangers to each other. They have faced off twice before each walking away with a win in the grappling world. Frank Mir and Roy “Big Country” Nelson will finally have a rubber match, but this time they get to lay hands on each other as well. Mir is coming off a KO win over CroCop as win will get him closer to another title shot, while Nelson is looking to get back on the winning track after a loss to Junior Dos Santos.
We talked to Mir about his upcoming fight against Roy Nelson and I think you might be shocked at some of the things the former Champ had to say. Mir talks about his reaction to getting the call to fight Nelson, the type of fight he was looking for and let me give you a hint he wasn’t all that excited.
