Holy crap! We totally forgot we had this little clip with Mayweather! You do not understand the footage we have in our archives, from fighters getting high on camera (dont ask who, we cant release it) to them being chased by dwarfs with machetes we have a lot of hidden gems in our archives. So we released that interview with 50 Cent yesterday, so we were looking back at that folder and went thru the footage we shot from that day and the first clip we open within the first minute was this! Boom! We completely forgot that we had asked Mayweather how long he saw himself boxing, in which he answered in what seemed to be a honest fashion, stating he will not fight past 38.
Though you never know, once he gets released from jail he can easily be like “yo I’m outie, no more fighting for me,” or have some sort of George Foreman moment and announce he has found god, is born again and will retire from boxing immediately. Which would be totally fine, he would be fighting the good fight. What will really happen I believe is that he will be pretty true to this statement and probably have two more fights and call it a career.
Love him or hate him, one thing is for sure, I for one am going to miss seeing him fight when that day comes…
