Let’s say you and your good friend are unstoppable forces on the local wrestling team. You guys go in there, tear it up, leaving bloodied, battered, and terrified opponent’s in your path. All the while, everyone looks at you like “oh snap! These dudes are a sick team! A sick team on a quest!” Hearing this love, you guys turn into like the superhero posse of wrestlers, going out and just becoming the most respected, known, and dominant wrestling group around. I don’t know if this is how Team Quest was formed, but it sounds possible and fits great into this article.

Now imagine that you go on to earn a title shot against UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones, instead of your former teammate and friend, Dan Henderson. You go online and see Dan saying, “Chael (Sonnen) does not deserve this fight… I would fight him; we are professionals.” This could harvest amazing trash talk if a fight between Sonnen and Henderson actually materializes. Let’s be honest – friendships only goes as far as they go until someone calls out the other person. We know that Sonnen will not back done from any challenger and even through respect and adoration for the credentials he and Hendo bring to the table, the American Gangster has never shied away from making jabs at any opponent… except for Brian Stann.

Hendo caught up with Fight Hub TV at the World MMA awards and talked about this very issue and other plans for 2013.

I had no fights in 2012, so I am looking for three this year… my plan for 2013 is to go 3-0
