So what is going on with Nick Diaz? Well Dustin De La Torre recently flagged down Cesar Gracie and from the looks of things Diaz is still in retirement..sorta, “There is retire, and there is retired. Like one day you have a job and you retire, then your retired but Nick is too young to be retired. He is like 28, he is too young. How about temporarily retired?”
Temporary retirement sounds a whole lot better than straight out retired as Gracie makes a valid point that Diaz is far too young to officially retire from MMA. Diaz seems to be in the prime of his career and certainly Gracie’s comments will give hope to Diaz fans worldwide. Though his ongoing lawsuit with the NSAC is a worry for Gracie who states that it may slow down the process to renew his license but it is the “American thing” to do in terms of standing up for what you believe. Gracie also touches on Nate Diaz whom he is delighted for that he will finally get a few months to take a break from training camp.
