Ramsey Nijem dropped his second in a row to James Vick after getting knocked out earlier in the year by Myles Jury. Nijem hasn’t looked great and for all we know could be a candidate of the chopping block.
In what was expected to be an exciting fight, Ovince St. Preux knocked out Cody Donovan 2 minutes into the second round with some nice ground and pound after he reversed Donovan’s takedown. This is OSP’s third win in a row since losing to Gegard Mousasi in Strikeforce, and it’s his second win in the UFC where he remains undefeated. And in the Facebook main event of sorts, a fight Jens Pulver would love with TUF 5 veterans Manny Gamburyan and Cole Miller meeting at featherweight. The size difference was apparent at first, with Miller laying it on Manny with his significant reach advantage, even nearly finishing Manny with what were legal, but perceived as illegal elbows at the end of the first. Manny rallies back over the next two rounds despite bleeding all over the place to nab the win. Fun fight. Now we move to FOX Sports 1 for the first time.
