After a historic UFC Fight Night 55 event last evening in Sydney, Australia, the UFC is back in Brazil for UFC Fight Night 56 live on FOX Sports 1.
In the main event, Mauricio “Shogun” Rua will look to add to his legacy by taking out late replacement Ovince St. Preux in spectacular fashion. Will Shogun reign supreme, or will “OSP” earn the upset victory in enemy territory?
In a last second change to the card, UFC Flyweight contender Ian “Uncle Creepy” McCall was forced to withdraw from his co-main event slot against John Lineker due to a blood infection that made him unfit to compete. With no time for a replacement bout, the fight was scrapped and the event will only feature ten bouts.
