While most eyes are focused on UFC Fight Night 51 and the Floyd Mayweather vs Marcos Maidana rematch, the World Series of Fighting put on their 13th event tonight on the NBC Sports Network.
Headlining the card was a non-title 147 pound catchweight bout between WSOF bantamweight champion Marlon Moraes and former TUF competitor Cody Bollinger. Moraes was initially set to defend his belt against Josh Hill tonight, but an injury forced the last change and a catchweight bout was decided upon.
In the end, Moraes completely dominated Bollinger en route to a highlight reel no-hooks rear-naked choke in the second round. Bollinger had absolutely nothing to offer to Moraes, who once again proved that he has top 10 bantamweight potential.
