The UFC kicked off their Saturday doubleheader with an early morning Fight Night card in Macao, China. UFC Fight Night 48 was not the greatest card in terms of name value, but most of the fights delivered exciting action.

In the main event of the evening, Michael Bisping and Cung Le went to war for four rounds before Bisping finished Le with an impressive flurry of strikes in the fourth. Bisping’s striking was crisp throughout the fight and showed he still has a lot left in the gas tank. After the fight, Bisping called out former StrikeForce middleweight champion Luke Rockhold after the two men have exchanged barbs over the last several months.

In the co-main event, Tyron Woodley knocked out the streaking Dong Hyun Kim in just over one minute into the very first round. Woodley countered and hurt Kim as he was attempting a spinning attack. With the win, Woodley gets himself right back into contention in the stacked welterweight division.
