UFC 177 has wrapped up, and what an exciting event it was especially considering all the last second changes. Although the event was criticized relentlessly in the build up to the pay-per-view and lost it’s main event just an hour before the weigh-ins, the majority of the UFC 177 card delivered exciting action and highlight reel finishes.
In the main event, TJ Dillashaw and Joe Soto put on a show on short notice as they went to war for five rounds. The fight was a lot more competitive than most expected, but in the end Dillashaw scored another highlight reel KO in the fifth round to retain his title.
At the UFC 177 post fight press conference, the post fight bonus award winners were announced:
Fight of the Night: Ramsey Nijem vs. Carlos Diego Ferreira
Performance of the Night: TJ Dillashaw and Yancy Medeiros
All of the bonus winners take home an extra $50K. Also of note, all the winners on the main card won a brand new Harley Davidson motorcycle.
