The ridiculous scenarios this guy was put in, being healthy for years yet getting only two fights in 19 months in Strikeforce, multiple lost title shots, a lack of money, his family suffering as he pursues a dream outside of the military, but in its peripheral vision. Tim Kennedy stayed focused. Even when Strikeforce was dying a slow death on the vine under Zuffa. He made the transition to the UFC, then he stands victorious, in a Fight for the Troops event. It all worked out.
