Mixed martial arts fans around the globe cheered when Bellator MMA announced the re-signing of British bruiser Paul Daley two months ago. Prior to his Bellator return, Daley was scheduled to have one last bout overseas at BAMMA 16 against a Brazilian late replacement, Marinho Moreira da Rocha.
After an enthralling first round, Daley came out looking for the finish in the second and did just that with a brutal body shot and follow up punches that forced the ref to stop the fight.
The win is Daley’s second KO in a row, and he goes into Bellator on a hot streak with fans eager to see how he stacks up against the rest of the welterweight division.
