After the Lyoto Machida fight fell through, it seemed like Nick Diaz would continue his long vacation known as his second retirement, but the offers just keep on coming, and now the name of Michael Bisping, busted eye and all, is being thrown around. Our own Michael Mardones, who is obviously close to Nick, has said that “Nick is ready for a Bisping fight.”
Now, we don’t know if Bisping, with his detached retina, is ready for any fights, but I for one would be completely down to see Diaz vs. Bisping. It has to be 5 rounds, though.
Bisping, for his part, would be happy to oblige Nick.
“Well if Diaz wants a fight at 185 I would happily welcome him to the division.”
Dana White tweeted that he “loved that fight.”
