Michael Buffer “Bruce Buffer and I never met until I was 49,” talks MMA and the “Buffer 180”

In this Fight Hub TV archive video, we speak to Hall Of Fame ring announcer Michael Buffer about his little brother Bruce Buffer. Bruce of course is the veteran voice of The Octagon, but as his older brother reveals, the two never met until Michael was 49. Talk about freaky ring announcing genetics right?! We would of gone more in depth on the subject with Michael but he was pressed for time. Though in the four minutes he graced our presence he spoke on the hardcore fan base of MMA and how they have helped propel his brother into a big star.

If you are looking for a Buffer 180 or 360 anytime soon in a boxing ring keep dreaming, Buffer comments that is something that is better suited for his little brother. Our next goal would be to get these two on camera chopping it up about fighting and life, I think that would be truly something special even more so than Buffer’s most memorable memory of a fight which is the 1989 title fight between Iran Barkley and the great Roberto Duran. Check out the short clip and we promise you we will have more Buffer in the future for you to enjoy!
