Ronda Rousey protege and overall BFF Marina Shafir is still a growing fighter with aspirations to make a splash in the big leagues at one point in the near future. Recently turning pro back in April of this year, Shafir is scheduled to fight at Chaos In The Cage next month in only her second pro fight.
By the looks of things, Shafir is looking sharp and her boxing is getting extremely polished. Taverdyan who is the coach of both Rousey and Shafir has done a tremendouc job with both women and the growth is very apparent in not only Rousey but Shafir. If you do a side by side comparison of both fighters, you could say that are almost mini clones of themselves when it comes to throwing punches and body shots.
