UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones and No. 1 light heavyweight contender Daniel Cormier were both punished today by the Nevada State Athletic commission for their roles in the UFC 178 media day brawl last month.

During Jones’ hearing, the champion explained that he had already been punished financially for the brawl, as Nike dropped their endorsement of him and another company withdrew their bid to endorse him.

For being honest and admitting fault, Jones was not suspended and instead was fined $50,000 and will have to do 40 hours of community service prior to his scheduled bout with Cormier at UFC 182.

After news broke about Jones losing the Nike deal, he posted this hilarious video on Instagram of him looking at his signature shoe and wallowing in sadness:

As for Cormier, he was fined $9,000 for his role, and will have to do 20 hours of community service.
