It’s almost like GSP’s retirement was meant to be at this point. With an ACL tear at his age, he’s likely to be out for at least a year, which could be what he needs to recharge his batteries so to speak, but it could also mean that he’s done for good. Maybe. In a year GSP will be fast approaching 34-years-old, and with how he likes to train for a fight, who knows if he’ll be able to truly get back to his old form, and if he can’t get back to his old form, would he even come back?
Is this the final nail in the coffin for one of the greatest MMA careers ever? Definitely maybe, but Georges marches to the beat of his own drummer, and one can never say never, can one?
Tore my left ACL in training. Surgery in a few days. Rehab, pain, hard work, no shortcuts- I’ll soon be back at 100%. Thanks for the support

What was he doing training? He probably just loves it and didn’t want to stop I guess. Makes sense.
