Remember watching our scrum highlight video featuring Daniel Cormier? It was good, wasn’t it? Yeah it was. Cormier is well-spoken and brings a great perspective to the sport. He’s peaking, he made 205 with ease, and he absolutely destroyed his rival Pat Cummins in just 77 seconds. It was moderately expected. Well, it was highly expected, but still it was bittersweet.
So back to that scrum video of ours – it was just over a week ago when Daniel Cormier was reduced to tears, biting into a piece of delicious Popeye’s Chicken, heartbroken that his fight with Rashad Evans was off. That’s what he said in our scrum, and in that same scrum his eyes lit up with joy when speaking about Popeyes, so we can only imagine how he feels now, with this delivery, and after beating up Cummins.
His eyes are so bright.
