Dana White doesn’t think Uriah Hall is a fighter.

It must be tough to be the derailed powerhouse known as Uriah Hall. He had all of the hype in the world on TUF, destroying his opponents, and now he’s in the Octagon proper, not really doing much to damage his opponents like once before. Sure, he threw his signature kicks, and aside from a few high fives and missed strikes, he looked fine, but damn: another split-decision loss to a smaller opponent? Not good. Not good at all, and Dana White isn’t pleased.

This is what Dana said at the FOX Sports 1 press conference.

“I love Uriah Hall. I have a great relationship with this kid. He’s one of the nicest human beings you can ever meet. He’s not a fighter, man.

If I could take Brad Pickett’s brain and heart and put it inside Uriah Hall’s body, holy s— there would be some damage done. Because Uriah Hall has all the physical attributes to be amazing. He’s got speed, he’s got power, he’s unbelievable. He doesn’t have what it mentally takes to fight here… That was a high-five competition.

Listen, you’re a nice guy. I get it. We’re not here to f—ing high five. We’re not here to shake hands. You do all that s— when the fight’s over. You’re here to fight.

Its a mental thing. He was this killer that everyone was afraid of on TUF, and then he comes into the big show where it really matters and this is going to make your livelihood and everything else, and he turns into this different person. This super nice guy. He was telling me after the Kelvin fight ‘You know, I really like him, he’s a really nice guy. OK, well that really nice guy just took everything you wanted. Do you get what I’m saying, does that make sense to you? I guess it doesn’t make sense to him.”
