Cung Le proved tonight at UFC Fight Night 48 in Macao, China that he has the heart of a lion as he took a hellacious beating from perennial UFC middleweight contender Michael Bisping.
In the second round Bisping caught Le with a straight left that landed right on the eye. Immediately after the punch Le began wincing in pain and had difficulty opening his eye. Throughout the next two rounds, Le’s face and eye got progressively worse up until Bisping finished him off with a brutal combination in the fourth round.

The damage done to Le’s face is certainly up there for worst in UFC history. Props to Le for hanging tough and fighting through the pain in order to give his fans a show. Le will take a much deserved vacation, and then discuss the prospects of his future in MMA.
