Cesar Gracie expects Nate Diaz to finish Benson Henderson in the 3rd or 4th round at UFC on Fox 5

With UFC on Fox 5 quickly approaching, UFC lightweight champion Benson Henderson is preparing for what may be the toughest test in his championship reign as he takes on the rugged and versatile Nate Diaz on December 8th. Henderson, who beat Frankie Edgar via split decision in a controversial rematch this past August is looking to solidify his championship run with a clear cut victory over Diaz. He needs one to be quite frank, as many do not view him as the legitimate champion given the two Edgar results.

Coming in to the bout, Cesar Gracie acknowledges the challenge that is Bendo, though he feels his fighter has evolved two fold in the recent months, “He is a monster. He is looking real good, he has to be the most improved fighter of the year.” Gracie is well aware of what types of problems Henderson can bring and he candidly states that anything can happen in a fight, though he is making a early prediction on the outcome of the bout, “If I had to make a prediction, I would say Nate wins in the 3rd or 4th rounds via submission, after he batters him the first few rounds.”

A stoppage of that sorts could happen, though many would be quick to point out the awesome submission defense of the human like slinky that is Ben Henderson. There is little over three weeks left for this bout people, and this x-mas type present for us MMA fans could not come any sooner.
