Cain Velasquez busts up JDS in a night of classics: Full UFC 166 results with replays

Dana White and Joe Rogan called it the greatest night of fights in UFC history, and UFC 166 certainly delivered, but let’s all take a minute to really think about if it was the greatest card ever. Yes, Cain and JDS put on an epic fight to finish their trilogy, with Cain ultimately DESTROYING JDS with a never-ending flurry to turn his face from nice guy JDS to something resembling Leatherface. Cain seemed to have JDS’s card after the initial flurry that Cain couldn’t handle in their first fight.

Cain is the undisputed king. Now it’s Werdum time.

GIlbert Melendez and Diego Sanchez put on one of the most exciting fights of the year, with a high-volume, back and forth battle that easily left Michael Mardones passed out wherever he happened to be when it came to him watching UFC 166. Seriously I can’t stress enough how insane this fight was, with Diego Sanchez channeling his inner-2008 self and going toe to toe with Gilbert Melendez in a rock ’em sock ’em masterpiece.

Seriously. Look at this gaping… Well…

We also got to see the surging Shawn Jordan get absolutely SHUT DOWN by Gabriel Gonzaga, who hasn’t had to use his BJJ in a long, long time. Boom. Zprophet with the .gif.

What a night. I’m spent. Utterly exhausted from the insane amount of violence we witnessed tonight. It was glorious. I’m going to curl into a ball and sleep for days.
