Bryan Caraway hates marijuana, Nate Diaz hates Bryan Caraway and Dana White hates the whole situation.

pbb_112409_DanaWhiteAlright, let’s try not to turn this into the great ignorant drug debate of 2013. That’s not what this is about. This isn’t even necessarily about the usage of a certain derogatory term made by Nate Diaz in the direction of Bryan Caraway. This all stems from the fact that TRT is getting a giant thumbs up from Athletic Commissions while trace amounts of a drug that isn’t even performance enhancing just cost a hardworking veteran of the sport of $130,000, and it’s fallout.

Bryan Caraway had this completely unsympathetic take on getting a $65k submission of the night bonus after Healy tested positive post UFC 159:

“I couldn’t be more happy, and it was an insanely pleasant surprise,”

“All I’ve got to say is that’s some expensive weed,” “I like Healy a lot. I came up through the fighting ranks with him. We used to train together at Team Quest. I love the guy. But I have absolutely zero remorse or guilt.

“I hate weed. I cannot stand it. I’ve never tried it. I’ve never smoked a drug in my life. So I have absolutely zero tolerance for people that do it. I don’t care if it’s legal in some places or not. I think it’s absolutely ridiculous. Whether it’s legal in real life or not, they tell you to follow the rules. You need to follow the rules.”

He makes a good point: you must follow the rules, but that doesn’t change the fact that he sounds like an ignorant fool regarding marijuana and it’s backwards laws in sports. And yes, I will remind you that Bryan Caraway also said that he would knock Ronda Rousey’s teeth down her throat then break her arm on social media.

I’ve never beaten a woman, and I can say with 100% honesty that I hate men that would want to beat up a woman. Just saying.

Then, Nate Diaz went overboard with this tweet:

Nate could’ve said many, many different things here, but he chose those words, now Dana White says he will fine, suspend or even cut Nate for using the word “fag” which is absolutely a hateful word, but is admittedly not as bad as the PC crowd is making it seem in context and in 2013.

So what happens now? What a stupid situation.
