Anthony Pettis tweeted a few days ago that Ben Askren is thinking about retiring, but the Bellator welterweight champ and current free agent has come out to debase those claims, and while doing it he had a chance to call out GSP on Twitter:
This is awesome. I truly think Ben Askren could give GSP trouble, although it would be a hell of a fight. Imagine GSP on his back? You can’t! I can’t! But then again, it’s not like Askren is fighting very good wrestlers in Bellator, and no one near GSP’s skill level, so even though I’m enjoying this, I don’t think it will happen any time soon.
Ugh.
