Anderson Silva’s manager assures his fans: “He will be back.”

Anderson-Silva-002

I’m not sure about you guys, but I’m completely fine with Anderson Silva walking away from the sport of MMA forever. He has nothing to prove to anyone, he went on one of the best runs ever, and furthermore, I don’t want to see him do more damage to himself. We’ve seen this so many times with fighters past and present, and the last thing anyone needs is for anderson to go 2-6 in his last 8 or something horrible like that. We’re already seeing it with BJ Penn, and we’ve seen it in boxing. No more, Anderson. No more.

But who am I to say that? He’s going to do what he’s going to do, and it looks like he’s going to do it. Speaking with TMZ, Silva’s manager Jorge Guimaraes (not Ed Soares) said:

“trust me, he will be back.”

“He had his second X-ray [Thursday] and everything looks great. It was a clean break so the nerves are okay. He’s already started physical therapy and he’s moving his toes.”
