When the UFC announced they had signed former Bellator Lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez, the mixed martial arts community collectively rejoiced in knowing they would finally see one of the consensus top five Lightweights in the world against the UFC’s best.
When it was revealed that Alvarez would be making his UFC debut at UFC 178 against the streaking Donald Cerrone, the excitement for his debut multiplied ten fold.
With both men’s affinity for exciting battles, you can bet that Alvarez and Cerrone will put on a show in the UFC 178 co-main event tomorrow evening.
