When it rains, it pours.
Just minutes after No. 2 ranked bantamweight contender Dominick Cruz announced he suffered yet another ACL injury, No. 4 ranked contender Raphael Assuncao has announced he broke his ankle in training and he too will be out indefinitely.
I am devastated 2 inform that my title shot hopes will be even further delayed due 2 broken ankle suffered in training I am sorry once again

With both Cruz and Assuncao out for the foreseeable future, bantamweight champion TJ Dillashaw just lost two potential title fights over the next six months, and potentially longer.
The remaining healthy contenders in the top five are former champion Renan Barao, and Dillashaw’s teammate and mentor Urijah Faber.
The bantamweight division which had such promise heading into 2015 is now suddenly in a state of crisis. The UFC is going to have to do some mad scrambling to make the right for Dillashaw in 2015.
