Georges St-Pierre to make UFC return soon? (Photo)

The UFC lost an icon last December when longtime UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre vacated his title and took a leave of absence from MMA citing his own personal issues he had to take care of.

As the months went by, it was made evident that his leave of absence was a lot more than just “personal issues”, but rather his discontent with the sport’s drug testing policy.

The UFC has promised stricter and better testing over the last year, but the only concrete result thus far has been the banning of TRT from the sport.

Speculation has run rampant over the last year in regards to when the welterweight kingpin may make his return, but up to now, there has been zero concrete evidence from St-Pierre.

A post on GSP’s Twitter yesterday may begin to incite further speculation, as the champion is seemingly getting fit in the gym to make a potential return to the Octagon.

Here’s the former champion’s caption, via Google Translate:

After the gym today. I’m still not where I want to be but I’m starting to be in a good shape.

What do you think? Is Georges St-Pierre making his return to the Octagon in 2015? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
