Georges St-Pierre cleared to resume training, potential return on the horizon?

The UFC has gone the entire year of 2014 with two of its most legendary fighters, Georges St-Pierre and Anderson Silva, sitting on the sidelines and not competing. Both former longtime champions of the Welterweight and Middleweight divisions respectively, the two men bowed out of competition in 2014 for differing reasons.

While most recall Silva horrifically breaking his leg in December 2013, some may have forgotten that although St-Pierre left the sport on his own volition, he tore his ACL not long after that decision, meaning a potential comeback would have to be a long way down the road.

According to the UFC, St-Pierre has been medically cleared by his doctor to resume training, so could we potentially see St-Pierre make a comeback in 2015?

We already know Silva will be taking on Nick Diaz in January, so could a potential super fight between St-Pierre and Silva be in the making for Summer 2015? Only time will tell.
