Bellator took a huge hit today when Welterweight champion Douglas Lima announced he was injured in training, and will be forced to pull out of his highly anticipated title defense against Paul Daley at Bellator 134.
I’m again devastated to announce but I did get injured again in camp. Recovery is just 4-6 weeks I should be able to fight April or May.

While some would hope for the bout to be re-scheduled, it seems Daley still wants to battle at Bellator 134.
Keep talking homie… Wait till I put my hands on you! Just wait I’ll be healthy soon enough…. pic.twitter.com/jWed11G1SI

There is obviously some pent up animosity between these two devastating strikers, so hopefully they meet inside the cage later this year.
