With a large percentage of MMA fans and pundits alike looking past Dennis Siver as they discuss Conor McGregor’s potential future title shot, apparently the oddsmakers are looking past the German as well.
McGregor has officially opened as a ludicrous 10-1 favorite over the 18 fight UFC veteran Siver, according to Best Fight Odds. This essentially means betting on McGregor to win would result in a very miniscule payout, but a bet on the underdog could yield wild results if Siver does pull out the victory.
McGregor and Siver are set to battle in the main event of UFC Fight Night 59 in Boston on January 18th. Many believe that a McGregor victory will earn him a crack at UFC gold.
