CM Punk to train with Anthony Pettis, Roufusport ahead of UFC debut

CM PUNK UFC MMA Debut mma news ufc news

Ever since UFC signed former WWE pro wrestler Phil Brooks, the MMA world has been interested in knowing who “CM Punk” would fight, when he would make his UFC debut, and where he would train.

While we are still uncertain with the two former questions, the latter has been answered recently by UFC president Dana White.

During a conversation on FOX Sports Live, White noted that CM Punk will join Roufusport to train alongside UFC champion Anthony “Showtime” Pettis.

“He’s now picked a training camp. I’m pretty sure he’s going to be training with Anthony Pettis, the 155-pound champion and his team. We’re just going to see how he progresses in training and then we’ll go from there.”

Can Pettis and Duke Roufus turn Brooks into a legitimate MMA fighter? Only time will tell.
