Art Of Fighting 12: Static

By Russell Cejas

Art Of Fighting has been the biggest promotion based out of Florida in recent memory. With a full range of fighters and high dollar production, Art of Fighting looks to continue their success with their twelfth installment title “Static”.

Taking place April 2nd in at the Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida, Stacked will contain seven bouts highly competitive and well matched bouts. Those in attendance will see Vitor Miranda vs. Jim “Sledge” Hammortree, Raul “Smash Mode” Amaya vs. Charles “Bam Bam” Blanchard as well as Mike “Boom Boom” Buckovich vs. Bobby Peavler and Jayson “J Killa” Jones vs. George Reagan. Along with constant upgrades in talent and MAvTV broadcasting their events, C.E.O. Nathan Smith showcases Florida MMA to perfection with Art of Fighting.

The promotion also gives amateur fighters an outlet for MMA as they are the only ones in Florida that hold full contact amateur events. Less the chance of Dana White purchasing AOF, they will only grow into a bigger organization and continue to put a spotlight on fighters coming out of the east coast.

For ticket information and a schedule of events please visit www.aofmma.com. I also had a chance to speak to one of their more polarized fighters in Dave “Pay Me” Yost. Look out for the interview we did with him on Fight Hub TV as we talked about his fight with Marcio Cruz and what it’s like to be a heavyweight fighter for Art of Fighting.
