The hotly anticipated UFC 182 event may not have provided as many finishes as fans would have hoped, but the main event between bitter rivals Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier certainly delivered.
In the end, Jones retained his UFC title by dominating the formerly undefeated Cormier en route to a unanimous decision win. Instead of striking on the outside, Jones played directly into Cormier’s strategy as he clinched and wrestled with the former Olympian, getting the better of “DC” at every turn.

In the co-main event, Donald Cerrone put a beating on the very tepid Myles Jury. After a first round that nearly saw the former undefeated prospect get submitted by “Cowboy”, Jury was unable to get into a groove the final two rounds.
